I’m Deji Johnson, a Hertfordshire-based wedding photographer working across the UK and internationally. My photography brings together editorial portraiture and honest storytelling, across digital and 35mm film, creating images that feel striking, natural and full of atmosphere. What drives me is pretty simple: two people have found each other and chosen to build a life together, and I get to document that story for them. I’m drawn to the standout portraits as much as the fleeting moments in between, and I think it’s that balance that sets my work apart. Photographs with a strong visual point of view, without losing the people, personality and feeling that made the day theirs.

Q.What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
A.I photograph weddings across the UK and abroad. For weddings that involve travel, everything is planned carefully in advance so the experience feels smooth from start to finish. No matter the location, my approach stays the same: calm, observant, and fully focused on the story of the day.
Q.How would you describe your style?
A.My work combines editorial portraiture with natural storytelling. I create portraits with shape and presence, then document the rest of the day as it happens. The result is a gallery that feels stylish, honest and connected to the real atmosphere of the wedding.
