Q.How long have you been capturing weddings?

A.Over 45 Years Behind the Camera – A Lifetime of Capturing Love Stories Every photographer has a story about how they started mine began over 45 years ago, when I photographed my very first wedding. At the time, I could never have imagined where that journey would lead or how many incredible people I would meet along the way. What started as a passion for photography has become a lifelong career built around capturing some of the happiest and most important moments in people's lives. Today, together with my wife Sharon, we're proud to have photographed more than 2,000 weddings and events since establishing Premiere Photography in 2006. During that time, we've had the privilege of working with thousands of wonderful couples and families, photographing weddings across Wales, England and at destinations further afield. Although photography has changed dramatically over the past four decades, one thing has remained exactly the same—our passion for creating beautiful, natural photographs that tell the unique story of every wedding day. Q.What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?

A.One of the greatest privileges of being wedding photographers is having the opportunity to work in so many beautiful locations. We have photographed more than 2,000 weddings and events, taking us to some of the most stunning venues throughout Wales, the South West of England and beyond. Over the years, we've become familiar with many of the region's most popular wedding destinations. In South Wales, we've photographed weddings throughout Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Llanelli, Monmouthshire, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. We've also travelled extensively throughout Breconshire and Powys, where the dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons and surrounding countryside provide spectacular backdrops for romantic wedding photography. From country manor houses to intimate rural venues, this part of Wales offers some of the most picturesque scenery in the UK. Further west, we've had the pleasure of photographing weddings across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, including stunning coastal venues overlooking some of Britain's most beautiful beaches and rugged coastline. Whether it's a countryside celebration or a wedding beside the sea, West Wales provides endless opportunities for unforgettable photographs. Q.Why is wedding photography so expensive?

A.Why Is Wedding Photography So Expensive? It's one of the questions we're asked most often. When you start comparing photographers, you'll quickly notice that prices can vary enormously, from just a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds. So why is there such a difference? The reality is that professional wedding photography involves far more than simply turning up on the day with a camera. A wedding photographer is responsible for capturing moments that can never be repeated. Once the vows have been exchanged, the first kiss has happened and the speeches are over, those memories can't be recreated. You're investing in experience, creativity, professional equipment and the confidence that your memories are in safe hands. Behind the scenes there are many more hours dedicated to preparing equipment, travelling to your venue, backing up thousands of images, carefully selecting the very best photographs, professionally editing every image, designing albums, preparing online galleries and providing ongoing customer support. It's not unusual for a photographer to spend 30+ hours or more on a single wedding from start to finish. Professional photographers also invest heavily in high-quality cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, computers, editing software, insurance, secure image storage, website maintenance, marketing and continuous training. Much of this equipment is duplicated, ensuring there is always a backup should anything unexpected happen on your wedding day. This level of preparation provides couples with peace of mind that their memories are protected. We understand that every couple has a budget. Weddings are a significant investment, and costs can quickly add up.
